Bought it for my hubby who had a hip replacement and also has a bad back. He put his socks on in a few seconds. When I leave for work in the mornings he is still asleep so he had to wait until I get home in the evenings to put his socks on. Now he can put them on himself and have nice warm feet. Thank you.

This sock aid is very good, it is a good thickness, flexible, very easy to use and a good price, sock fits easily onto it and it pretty much glides onto your foot but i find that a bit of foot powder or talcum on your foot makes it even easier.

Once you have worked out how to load the stocking, it's very easy to use. A small diagram on loading and usage would
be very useful. The product does make fitting support stocking very manageable and quick.

I read reviews that said that this could be tricky to use and warned her of this. I left it with her at lunchtime, by mid afternoon I had a message to say thank you so much, it worked a treat and she was really happy to be able to put her own socks/stockings on now without having to ask for help. Simple to use and gives much relief in gaining back the independence of putting on something as simple as a sock.

I've recently had my hip replacement operation and mobility isn't great and putting socks on is a big no way. This ingenious contraption not only puts socks on with ease but also helps to put the TED stockings on also, freed me up and ain't expensive, my sister in law is having her knee done, I bought her one too

Bought this for my mother and she loves it. She's old and knackered and can't easily put her socks on so this really helps. The only caveat is you must have a decent grip to pull the device and sock up.

Makes it possible to put on compression socks unaided on operated leg after hip replacement operation. Very good for putting on white surgical support hose. Found it a bit more awkward for putting on athletic compression sock. Overall very pleased!

After cycling accident (broken hip and top of femur) i could not bend to put on socks. This gadget works perfectly even with socks which I thought might not stretch enough. Took a couple of goes to get it right but need to pull sock over as much as you can then pulls up easily. Even with 'trainer type socks' which are very short it works! Trick is to pull 'slowly'. Will be putting it away for my old age when I recover!
