Refund policy

Ausnew Refund Policy

We will provide refunds pursuant to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (the “Act”) namely if the goods you purchased:-

A. Are not of merchantable quality;
B. Are not fit for its purpose;
C. Do not match the sample.
D. If for any reason your purchase is faulty

The Consumer Guarantees and Remedies under the Australian Consumer Law, Schedule 2 of the Act applies. 

 

 We are unable to refund, credit or exchange the following:

  •  Intimate Items Eg. Pillows, Bath safety products (Examples: commodes, raised toilet seats, shower chairs, cushions, and transfer benches, etc.), if there is evidence of use and the refund is requested due to change of mind. 
  • Damaged products due to misuse
  • Due to Change of Mind Only, however this is subject to the descretion of Ausnew

Returned products are the buyer’s respon­sibility until they reach the seller. The seller shall not be responsible for misdirected deliveries or products lost or damaged in transit. 

Suitable ID to identify you as the original purchaser; and Details of the fault or issue with the product and that the fault or issue was not caused by you. All refunds via Ausnew for an online web sale a store credit will be issued.

The seller reserves the right to levy a restocking fee against any returns the seller may agree to accept. Such fees 20% of the invoice priced and levied at the seller’s absolute discretion. This only applies to intances of Change of Mind. 

The customer must present themselves with all necessary documentation (tax invoice, web order ID, suitable ID, and the product /s in question).

No refunds on Items given for FREE  
Customers cannot double dip

Make sure to quote your Receipt Number. 

Upon Verification, we shall provide a Reply Paid Number for postage and or organise a Courier to collect the item from you.  

Refunds may take up to 10-14 Days to be deposited into your bank account. 

Return postage costs will be deducted from the Refunded Amount.

Cashbacks and Promotions

All cashbacks are subject to approval and will be paid by either PayPal or bank deposit according to the customer's preference 10 days after delivery has been made.

Cash backs are only valid on purchases within selected promotion dates.
