I bought this for arthritis in my thumbs. The occupational therapist used something similar on my hands so I was thrilled to find this heated body pad. I just fold it over so that half is under my hands and half is on top of my hands. I love this and highly recommend it to anyone who needs a moist heated pack.

I first saw these at my physical therapy place. - Slipped on ice and hurt my back this winter. It's 3 minutes to warm up in the Microwave. Filled with sand or something, which puts some nice weight onto my back, along with an evenly distributed heat. Lasts about 30 minutes and puts me to sleep every time. I can only recommend it!
