My brother had surgery on both of his hands. This plate, along with adaptive utensils, allows him to eat independently while he recovers.

The high lip really helps my wife who has Parkinson's Disease get food on her spoon. The suction keeps the plate from moving. It has given her the confidence to put forth the effort to feed herself in spite of her tremor.

We have tried a couple of these plates and yours is the best. Best suction and best on the height for the higher side. Have purchased about 10 over the last 2 years. Have 2 clients that use them and both like them.

Perfect plate for a person able to use only one arm & hand. The plate doesn't slip on the table as do glass dishes and the higher side help when scooping food into a utensil.

Purchased for my dad who recently lost his sight. This product has aided him in maintaining his independence when eating. Food is not easily pushed out of plate.

My husband has dementia & has problems in feeding himself. Half of his food would end up either on the place mat or worst, on the floor (which the dog loves). Now with this scoop plate, the food gets in his spoon, then his mouth & not the mat or floor. It washes very easily. We use it for every meal. I even took it on our cruise to make his eating easier for him and for me.

I am going to have a right total shoulder replacement. I have tried to eat with my left hand and can not get all of the food out of a regular bowl. I have not tried a plate yet. I have used this plate with great success. I am glad to have it for after surgery.

It is a great help with a handicapped spoon. My mom is able to feed herself with this dish and the spoon. Put the high top of dish facing the patient. Patient may need a little practice, but it works well.

I like the way this helps my husband get and keep the food on his spoon. It works very well. I'm completely satisfied and will likely order more in the future. Reasonable price. It doesn't slide around the table like some of the purchasers complained. I like the design and think it's worth the money.

My husband had a stroke and has had to learn to use his left hand, these plates are perfect to assist him when scooping his meal. I love the raised sides and the additional rise. He hasn't pushed food onto the table since I got them. The size is perfect for a mansize serving as well, most other plates I looked at were smaller.

My father has Parkinson's Disease and eating from a standard dinner plate is not as easy as it use to be, as he is usually chasing his food around the plate. I was very happy when I found that such a tool as this spillproof bowl existed. I purchased one for him and it has made quite a difference, he still chases his food a bit, the the high edges and the scoop edge allows for him to stop his food and it falls to his fork or spoon. So appreciated, thank you!

Tried this for husband with dementia and parkinsonism. Seems to help with chasing food. Just right size to place it on top of our regular plate so it still looks kinda like my plate. May invest in another soon to cycle with the dishwasher.

I think the design of the plates is fantastic. My husband has Parkinson's and this makes eating much easier.

Our son had a brain tumor 3 years ago at the age of 7 and when they removed it, he had a little stroke ND his right side stopped working. He had to relearn to walk and talk and is currently doing both occupational and physical therapy. By the grace of God, he is now up and running and playing soccer but his little arm still isn't where it needs to be. Products like this make it possible for him to be as independent as possible. My only suggestion is that maybe you could create bowls that are bigger because he loves to cook and he could use some non slip mixing bowls to further his independence and cooking skills. I just got this product and I have used it only once so far. But it lives up to my expectations and I am pleased .

I purchased this product for a friend who is has Parkinson’s disease. I observed that he struggled eating from a flat plate. Often he would not complete his serving ( frustration ). The first time he used the product the meal was enjoyed completely.

I really like how big the scoop is on the side. I purchased one before just to make sure the scoop actually had lift. I liked it so much that I ordered another one. It makes it so much easier to keep food in the plate that normally slides out.

My mother has multiple sclerosis and has a hard time feeding herself. So glad I found this product! The raised edges help her get food on her fork or spoon. This has literally changed her life. She had moved to liquids only because she couldn't feed herself. But now with this clever product that issue has resolved it self. She is beginning to even gain little weight which she needed to do!
