My son had a pinched nerve in his elbow and his doctor suggested that he wear this during the day to protect the nerve from being bumped or hurt more while it was healing. It was easy for my son to put on and take off and cushioned his elbow perfectly. He still had enough range of motion with it that it didn't hinder him at school in any way. He said it was comfortable and he had no problems.

My elbows hurt when they are fully bent, and this Elbow support is perfect to stop it from Bending all the way. It also doesn't really stop any other type of movement, and it stays on very well. I was not too optimistic about it when I ordered it. My right hand, especially my pinky and ring fingers have felt numb / a sleep for a while and recently got worse. I use hand tools all day. I wouldn't be able to grip things. The day I got this brace it was a night and day difference. It took a day or so of getting use to, but I hardly notice it any more. Still get numb when I take it off, but while wearing it my hand feels great.

For some reason I am always whacking my elbow on a doorway. This provides enough cushioning protection for it.
It does not ease the strain on the elbow from lifting or pulling a heavy object.

They told me no fracture. So, after 4 weeks went to di9 doctor new xray showed it was fractured. Healing well but my Doctor recommended this one to me as he did not want me hitting it again due to my Osteoporosis. I am small so I ordered a small. Perfect fit for me but I have small arms not muscular.
