This is perfect! I use it to reach the tall shelves in the kitchen and pantry. There was no assembly required. I feel stable and safe when standing on it. I am plus size and this supports more than I need so I know that it’s durable and will last for many years! It’s worth every penny and I definitely recommend it.

I am too short to load my kayak on top of my car. I needed a steady and sturdy stool that would be reliable even on less then perfectly flat ground, and that would not collapse on me. This stool does the job. Gives me the height boost I need and is steady as you please. Light weight to move around with ease and still compact enough to pop in the car with all my other gear, all without having to go to the trouble of collapsing it down.

It's slightly bigger than you think, and a little taller, and the platform grip along with the leg caps allow you to comfortably stand (or even twist) with confidence. This is a much better stool than I expected!

I like this better than the other one step footstools I have. I need to climb onto it in order to get in my bed with a topper on the mattress. I am very short, older, and unsteady on my feet. It is very sturdy and I don't feel as if it will topple over. It was a very valuable purchase for me. I highly recommend it.

Used to climb in/out of a truck and van after surgery on one shoulder. Then donated to church that was transporting me to P.T. and medical appts. I am 240 lbs and it worked perfectly. It is much lighter than the step stools found in medical settings however.

I purchased this step stool because I wanted a stool that would be sturdy as I do my single step-up exercises with dumb bells. I have a higher block but needed something lower to start with and at 8.5" this was perfect. I am not afraid of it giving out or sliding around.

Mostly using for an exercise I do for a damaged Achilles tendon. It is the right height and I can stand on it with one foot while lowering the other and it provides a solid base. Also use it as a stepping stool.

It is perfect! I thought it would be smaller from the reviews, but it's a perfectly comfortable size! I ordered it to use in our piercing parlor to have clients stand on for markings or for help onto the high bed. So far it's been amazing for 50+ clients, a couple being over 300 lbs! Easy to sanatize & toss around, but sturdy enough to do its thing!

We ordered a second reinforced step-stool after having found our first copy fit our needs as senior citizens living at home, very well. The "handle" or "banister" on this model provides additional stability for anyone who needs to reach a higher than arms-length shelf or clothes bar. Falls are among the most dangerous accidents for older people. Highly recommended.

This medical footstool, chrome with the anti-skid rubber platform is perfect for what I was looking for. I'm short and hubby had bought me a really nice, sturdy roll around, and I do love it, but just not quite what I needed for my kitchen. This is small, lightweight but sturdy and perfect to kick around my kitchen for the additional inches it allows me to reach those too tall cabinets.

I used to have another one before, but it was made of plastic and had a tendency to slip on the side when I would put my feet on it, I use this next to my bed as it is a bit high. With this one at least I don't have that issue anymore, it is sturdy and stays in place.

I bought this stool for a couple reasons...1) We needed something of this height to take camping for our A/C unit to sit on and 2) We can use it around the house since I'm kinda short. I will say, I am 230# and it holds me well despite the weight restrictions listed on the description. I HIGHLY recommend this stool for many different uses! It's also short therefor its even sturdier than its counterparts.

Before I assembled it I brought out a plier and some screwdrivers, thinking I would need them. But I was very surprised to see that none were required. Each screw comes with a twist on knob handle that you can comfortably tighten without any tools. It’s super sturdy and I am quite impressed with everything about it.
