Button Hook – Zipper Combination

Have always struggled doing up buttons on my kids shirts until this amazing thing came into my life :)

Bought this for my 88 yr. mother and she loves it. She had starting having trouble fastening her shirts/blouses and asked me to figure out a solution. Found this nifty gadget and it works !! Easy to use, and it just works. My mom lives alone and is amazing at 88. She loves it so I would recommend it for anyone of any age, but it is super for the elderly that may have arthritis or even someone with long fingernails who has problems buttoning shirts/blouses. Thanks for those of you who reviewed it before me as well.

My arthritic fingers have made zipping up my riding tall boots almost impossible-or at least excruciatingly painful. Had to have husband or barn mate zip them up for me. This button hook/zipper pull worked like a charm. I do have some doubts about how sturdy/strong the zipper hook will be long term-I think it already stretched out a bit from the first use. Time will tell.

With this tool I can dress myself again! I can pull up my own back or front zippers. I can easily button my own buttons. I don't need to bother anyone to help me, show up somewhere half zipped, or avoid wearing certain clothes. This is a very helpful, simple to use product.

My husband is 79 and has had trouble with buttons for a couple of years-his hands are large and the feeling in his fingertips isn't very good. He often got frustrated and found an inexpensive button hook in a novelty magazine-I knew it would be junk, so I found this one for just a few dollars more. It arrived on schedule and is what I would call heavy duty-I anticipate it lasting for a long time. He was able to use it on the first try and was very pleased. I'm happy that it helps him be less stressed and able to dress himself without struggling. I always appreciate it when a seller asks for feedback.

Works great! My husband has lost some function in both hands and this product gives him the ability to button his shirts. He loves it. Such a great product for those that have challenges using their hands.

Got this for my husband who has difficulty with small buttons due to increasing arthritis. It isn't perfect but really makes a big difference in fumbling with the buttons or asking for help. Glad I bought it for him and continues to make more self reliant!

It was taking my 85 year old mother 45 minutes to get dressed in the morning because she couldn't button her blouse. This is a woman who still drives her friend everywhere, bakes deserts and cookies for all her friends, and is actively involved in her church and community. This simple hook has given her back nearly an hour a day. She likes the large handle and showed me how quickly she can maneuver the hook to grab the button and pull in back through in a few seconds.

This button hook is such a great old idea reconfigured into a more user-friendly form for folks like myself with less dexterity who experience difficulty performing simple little tasks that we used to take for granted, such as buttoning my shirt or opening and closing a zipper. I bought a second one for my good friend who has arthritis in his hands.

I was most interested in the button hook for my husband, who has had a frozen shoulder on his dominant side. It works well on smaller buttons like on shirts; not so well on pants (jeans) buttons. But it does help me keep the button stabilized, so we can hang on to it while maneuvering it through the too small button hole. Love the handle--so easy to grip.
