I have suffered from lower back pain for many years and recently had a total hip replacement. I could barely stand up straight due to my back and hobbled from the hip surgery even after 8 months. It occurred to me that maybe a pillow between the knees at night might help. WOW, this knee pillow has really changed my life. I'm walking now without pain and standing straight after a short loosening up in the AM. Who knew that all I had to do was sleep with this orthopedic pillow between my knees at night and within a week would no longer need to make an appointment with a spine doctor. Too bad they dont tell you these things at the Dr visits after surgery.

I bought this for my husband who is forever stuffing pillows between his legs to improve his comfort whist sleeping. When it arrived unannounced (I forgot to tell him about it) he experessed extreme surprize that such and item would exist and that he wouldn't expect it to help much. He did try it however and was very quick to change his mind, it has dramatically improved his comfort, reducing the pain in his hip and back and so he is sleeping better so it is worth every penny.

In my 3rd trimester and sleeping on my side all the time was really starting to takes its toll on my sciatica. I was in excruciating pain sitting and standing but laying down in any position had me in tears, waking up crying in pain. I was using a normal memory foam pillow but it just wasn’t enough to support my lower back and hips. Left side or right side, I was miserable.This pillow gives me lower back/hip support and stops my top leg from falling forward, causing a twist in my spine. I had a similar pillow before which was an As Seen on TV brand which I got from Bed Bath & Beyond and this one is way better. The old one I had would sink too much so it was almost like I wasn't using a pillow at all. This one keeps it's shape throughout the night while also remaining soft and comfortable.

Speciality waterproof fabric covers are a nice touch. Makes it OH&S ok in a medical facility here. Relatively soft, but does not collapse under pressure. (I guess that’s the medical memory foam)

The night before this arrived was my most painful. My hips were screaming at me and I spent the night flipping from side to side. Pillows never stay in place so I had given up using them for support. I could not wait until this silly little foam thing arrived yesterday. I figured it had to help at least a little. Let me tell you, I woke up this morning with NO PAIN. I think rolled over once or twice, but I had such a restful night's sleep all because of this curvy chunk of foam. It stayed in place and it was easy to keep in place even when I rolled over. The cover is very soft and seems like it will be easy to remove and clean. Buy this. You won't be sorry.
