I bought this aid for our grandma because she likes to drink tea but the kettle is slowly getting too heavy. She already fills in the water and still wants to make a whole pot of tea, as it has always been that way and must stay that way. She was a bit skeptical at first, but now she uses it every time as the kettle remains in place and you don't have to remove it anymore. She therefore continues to fill in cup by cup of water.

First of all, major thanks to the folks who developed this! I have a severe physical disability and was skeptical if this would work for my abilities. It absolutely does! At 32 years old, I made a cup of tea independently for the first time. It may sound simple, but it felt so humanizing. I even bought fancy tea for the occasion!

I love my electric tea kettle. It’s so easy to pour. I bought it to have in my office. It’s amazing!! It’s worth getting to have warm tea in the morning. Super safe. Automatically adjusts upright if let go of. Boils quickly (~5 minutes when full). Button is easy to press. Automatic shut off.

When I saw this, I thought this would be perfect for my 89 year old father. He lives alone, but he is not as stable as he used to be. This allows him to pour hot water safely. I like everything about this superb kettle. It's very light to use, no need to lift to fill your cup. Fill to the water mark you require, place in it's cradle, when it boils and switches itself off, just tip the kettle towards your cup. I chose this kettle because, being in my eighties, I was finding ordinary kettles too heavy.

My old kettle tipper is way too big and pretty ugly and reminds me all the time of my disabilty ... the PowerPour looks so stylish my able bodied friends and family will enjoy using it just as much as I do.. I have to use it as a tipper and they do not need to as it is so easy to remove from kettle the cradle and use as a "normal" kettle ( bet they will use it as a tipper too) . It is also the quietist kettle that I have owned in a long time .

Easy to set up and use . My aunt who I bought it for is full of praise for it. To fill it she uses a small bottle of water that she refills to fill the kettle, because her hands aren’t steady enough for a larger bottle to be carried.

I got one of these for my father after recovering from a stroke for a little independence, a year later I've got one for my self, good for people who cant hold a normal standard kettle or pour one, good if you have arthritis or any other conditions, even if you are able bodied its a handy kettle, you can remove it from the brown rocking cradle or keep it there and fill via a jug or cup, you just tilt the kettle to pour, holds just as much as a standard kettle.

This has helped my mother greatly, would advise filling the kettle with a plastic jug rather than taking it out of the holder as she found replacing it difficult (with severe arthritis), but the tipping mechanism worked well and was safe and easy to use.
