Love it helps my bedridden mom to not spill most of her food. Alot easier on her to scoop up any food that would always fall off side of plate.

I was left handed I am with my stroke I lost use of my left hand so trying new things with my right hand is sometimes very difficult I found that this helps my food to stay in the plate instead of all over my body I love this item

This clip on food guard had been working really well for my elderly father in law. He is slowly losing his sight due to macular degeneration. I am a special education teacher and used to use these types of tools to help my students. My Dad had a difficult time chasing his food all over the place at dinner. Brilliant idea. I have ordered this before and ordered a second for another family member. It really helps my son who is blind as it stops his food getting pushed off the side of his plate when he is eating. Easy to fit, easy to wash and easy to transport for eating out. I am only able to use one hand to eat and I used to push things off the edge off my plate as I picked the food up with my spoon. I was very reliant on someone else to help me. Now with the plate guard I have more independence because I can I eat a meal without help.

Finally I've found something to stop my food falling off my plate. It's such a simple little item, you just clip it onto the rim of your plate and hey presto....the food stays on the plate. If you hold your plate with one hand its ideal.
