I like having these key safe locks - just in case.
In case the battery dies on our door lock or we lock ourselves out somehow....
In case I need to get in the basement door instead of walking back around and inside the house to get a key....
In case family/friends are coming to visit and they need to get a key to get in....
I also use them at work to hide/secure spare office keys.

This is a very study enclosure. Easy to mount on any flat surface using screws. Lock mechanism seems durable.
