I purchased the lowest price seat and it is well worth the money. Kohler makes a good seat. I didn't realize that it was soft close. Highly recommend this seat...unless you want to spend more money for the same thing.

Slow motion only when closing was unexpected. No complaints. Previous toilet seat, non-Kohler, had slow motion in both directions, until it broke.

I bought this specifically because of the reviews mentioning that the opening was larger than other round toilet seats, and I was happy to find that was true. This seat is lightweight, easy to clean, and has the slow-close feature.

Previous reviews had mentioned the hole being bigger than any other round toilet seat and it’s true ! It was super easy to install and came in sturdy packaging . If you hate the round toilet seats that traditional bowls come with then you must get this !
