my mum (with parkinsons) was having trouble swinging her legs into the shower bath and standing as well. tried a board across the bath but this was so much better, very sturdy and safe to use and easily lifts out so i can clean the bath. She is very pleased with it.

bought for a person to use after a hip operation and it does the job really well, it is fitted to a cast iron bath so I cannot comment on fitting to a plastic bath but should be ok

This was bought for my elderly father to get in and out of his bath to have a shower. The assembling is very straight forward, we only attached one arm on the outer edge as my father’s bath is quite narrow but it still works perfectly. He is very pleased with it, saying it is comfortable and easy to use, enabling him to have stability on entering the bath.

Good sturdy swivel over the bath shower chair. Good quality, fair priced. Fits on bath fine and safe and easy to use. Works perfectly for me to sit under the shower. All would advise is if you have a glass shower screen, rather than a curtain think if a curtain would be better as you'd have to put it in front of your glass panel for it to fully shut. Recommend.

I bought this for my father to use when he stayed at my house over the summer. It worked well for him. I did try it out before hand to make sure it was sturdy enough and didn't move around when in use. I understand from my Mum he used it fine and was able to have a shower down over over deeper bath, without worrying about how he was going to get out.

When I fastened the seat to the bath, I found that I did not tighten them enough, so when I first sat down it collapsed (with me with on it) into the bath and it was difficult to get out. Therefore if you purchase this, have a practice - ideally with someone helping you, to make sure that its securely in place. Since then it does its job

Very easy to assemble and place on the bathtub. The only detail for which I did not give 5 stars is related to the mechanism that blocks the chair preventing it from turning: although it is functional I found it decidedly basic and low level, practically a noisy iron rod. Apart from this element I recommend this chair for those who have trouble getting into a bathtub.
