This pad works very well on top of my pillow.

Bought it to cool my back after surgery and it worked great. Now the wife uses it when she sews to keep her arm cool so her hand doesn't sweat. Definitely worth the money we paid for it.

I bought this for my husband because he burns up at night. He loves this. He falls asleep on it and I don’t have to be under a freezing fan!

I took a risk and ordered this product because every time my back heats up, I am in pain. Therefore, laying in bed with my husband was extremely difficult. Now, this cool (literally) thin pad has made all the difference. It doesn't stay cool for hours on end. But, I am able to make it several hours before I have to get up. And after a few minutes, it is cool again. Such a blessing for me! I haven't got a clue how it works, but it does! You don't have to refrigerate or freeze. I just keep it on the night stand until I go to bed.

Completely worth the money! I suffer from a fever condition and this cooling pad helps me, by preventing me from having to be rushed to the emergency room everytime I have a fever! These cooling pads only take about 15-25 to cool down again so you can it! Completely better than the ones that you have to refreeze in the freezer!

We use this for my infant to lay on/sit in when outside. We live in a super hot climate and this has been helpful to keep him cool. I tried placing it in the cooler once but it was then just too cold for a baby. We since leave it in the diaper bag and bring it almost everywhere we go. This has been a great purchase and helps keep my little one from overheating.

I utilize this product for my massage clients that run a little hot. It gives a nice cooling feel but only lasts a few hours (tried it overnight). Easy to clean, heavy and well constructed. The pad arrived folded and it is a bit hard but certainly keeps the body cool.

Works great to help you fall asleep in a hot room. But when it warms up so do you. I fall asleep on it and when waking up at night toss it to the floor and just sleep without it

I sometimes wake up sweating so I decided to try this pillow. It's not a pillow, it a mat, really. You place it on your warm/hot bed pillow and, voila!...in 2 or 3 seconds the coolness is activated and it is so wonderful. It works fast and is very refreshing. I keep it by my bedside so that I can grab it when I need it

I put mine horizontally across my bed, so it's under my torso on both sides of the bed. When I have a hot flash, I just roll over to the cool side. It's a life saver and finally gave me a good night's rest. Per the other reviews, of course it will warm up after you are on it for a while... that's physics. But the side you are not on will cool down in a few minutes and give you relief the next time you have a flash. I had one pad that worked just as well but it had gel pockets that leaked. This one looks to be very durable.

Excellent product. My 9 year old son is always complaining about being hot,especially at night. It was a bit pricey at 70 dollars,but definitely worth the investment. He is sleeping much better now.

This is a great cooling mat I use for my back when sitting on the couch. It works great- just like the description. I was concerned at first because it was surrounded in vinyl- which doesn't breathe- but that is not a problem. It gets cold and stays cold for hours. Once it's warm, just remove it for about 20 mins and it's cold again. I'd buy it again for sure.

This cooling mat is amazing! I wish I would have gotten it sooner. I’ve always been a warm sleeper but now I have night sweats that just make it worse. This cools instantly upon pressure. When I first unpacked it I didn’t think it would work because I couldn’t feel a difference when pressing my hand on it. I put it under my fitted sheet and it really does work! If you place it just right you will always have a cool spot to shift to. It does get warm after a few hours on the same spot but just by rolling over you can find a cool spot. Last night was the first time in a long time that I didn’t wake up sweating in the middle of the night. If you sleep warm and especially if you have night sweats, this mat is life changing!

Compared to similar items, it’s pretty large (close to small person sized) & is fairly thick. I’ve tried similar smaller pads, but I always wished they were bigger. This big enough. It can be folded in half, if smaller is preferred. The thickness helps to keep it cool longer.

Bought these for my hot flashes. It works great for 2.5 hours it does reset quickly. A lifesaver when my six-year-old had a fever. Much better than putting him in a cool bath.

I found this cooling pad overall very effective! I use it every night to keep me cool from hot flashes and for relief from the occasional headache. I lay the pad on top of my pillow for immediate relief. Its thin and fairly comfortable to lay on. I also turn it around to use the other size for maximum effect. It does keep me cool for awhile but I eventually have to take if off my pillow and set aside to cool again. I use it several times throughout the night when needed, so if you're looking for continual all night relief I would suggest purchasing 2 so you can rotate them out.
