Strong. Easy to mount. I would recommend. Only problem is it took a very long time to receive. They were usually sold out. Does not come with mounting hardware. We have a problematic stair. This solved the problem nicely, making it safer for elderly and knee comprised visitors.

I ordered this for my elderly neighbour because she needed something to steady herself as she enters and leaves the bathroom. The bathroom doorway is 8 inches deep and this was the nearest length of bar I could find. I've had to fit it at and angle to the horizontal, but my neighbour tells me it suits her very well. It is sturdy and the screws provided are long enough attach it securely to the wood of the door way.
