Bought this rail to place it on my mother's bed. She had fallen off the bed as she tried to stand up. With this railing, she has something to hang on to when she stands up and prevents her from falling off the side she sleeps on. Its easy to assemble, ( took me only 15 minutes to put together) and it's solid. My mother is happy with it and I am happy with my purchase!

This is a bit of elementary genius. Just slide part of it between the mattresses, in the location that's best for your particular needs. For us it was stability and assistance with getting in/out and, in a way, is good for staying in bed as well. Great idea, great product.
