I have hand strength issues and sensitive skin. This brush has bristles that are very soft and comfortable for sensitive skin and stronger bristles on the other side. (I would call them stronger rather than stiff because they are still comfortable on certain parts of the skin like the tops of legs and arms, feet, elbows, and seem like a good exfoliator). The handle is very long and easy to hold.

I was really happy when I received this to see that the “exfoliation” side actually was pretty tough and did work really well. The other side is super soft. I use the soft side to get my back all soapy then the exfoliation side to well..exfoliate lol.

I have had an itchy back forever, because i have dry skin that never seems to go away. Not really sure why it took me so long to think of buying a back scrubber--talk about a brain fart. Long and short of it is that this scrubber works. I use the bristly end to really scrub my back, and it's tough enough to get rid of the dead skin, but soft enough not to shred my back apart. That's a good thing. :)
